Winter Learning Journey
Day 1, Activity 1
New Zealand is a beautiful country and to see it properly everyone should go on a road trip buy car, camper van, or a motor home. When you go around New Zealand you can see the beautiful landscapes, the country and see all of the cities in the North island and the South island. But while you are going around NZ you will go through a lot of different weather like heavy rain, wind, sun, hail and thunderstorms. New Zealand is a very small country and you will have to go on lots of straight roads, windy roads and narrow roads.

- Go up the sky tower
- Go to the north shore
- Go to beaches
- Go to the museum
- Go to Restaurants

I can see from your post that there are a number of things that you enjoy doing in Auckland. It appears that your favourite thing to do is to go up the sky tower. Am I reading that correctly? I, too, love to go to the Sky Tower. I've only been twice but both times I really enjoyed it because I was able to have a delicious meal at Orbit restaurant and look out over the city of Auckland while I ate. Have you ever been there? The whole restaurant rotates 360 degrees (very slowly) over the course of an hour. It makes for a pretty interesting experience!
Speaking of interesting, I really like the flag that you have created. It has a number of unique features and details. In order to earn full points for the bonus activity we are looking for you to describe the flag in words. Can you please tell us more about what you have included on the flag and what inspired you to add each feature? We'd love to know!
